The largest of all the Mobil Tech stands, the AlpTek 6500 is the latest stand added to an already impressive Mobil Tech line-up. Continuing on with the AlpTek tradition, the 6500 is now the big brother to the ever-popular AlpTek 5500, going a full 3' 3" higher for a total of 21' 3" in total height. From the moment you pull this stand from its crate, you will be impressed by its quality manufacturing and standard features other manufacturers only wish they had on their stands.

The new Triple Security KBS Key Brake System is standard on the AlpTek 5500 and 6500 stands, giving you added safety and peace-of-mind against any potential failures. The KBS System is a method of stand security, whereby a safety catch locks into a rail on each stand mast with every turn of the winch handle. To lower the stand, you simply release the safety catch to allow a smooth lowering process. Additionally, there is a secondary locking knob to prevent any movement or rotation.

With 8 standard casters, you can move the stand with ease across the floor vertically, horizontally, or up a truck ramp for mobile production companies. With 4 independent adjustable leg braces, the stand can be utilized in rough terrain or tight areas where limited space can be problematic and still give you the stability and safety you expect. With labor costs at a premium, the AlpTek 6500 is easily a one-person set-up. Its low-loading height makes it easy to install any adaptors, trussing or lights. The AlpTek 5500 and 6500 stands come standard with a spirit level for fine leveling.

All Mobil Tech stands and accessories come with a one year warranty against defects and workmanship. They are manufactured to the toughest German TUV standards and every stand has been tested and certified by qualified engineers. Engineering documents are available on all Mobil Tech products.

The following accessories can be used with the AlpTek 6500. The heavy duty AlpTek 5500 and 6500 have a 50 mm shaft on the top while the StandTek 3000, SpTek 4000 and AlpTek 45 stands have a 35 mm shaft. The accessories with a 35 mm receiver will fit on the AlpTek 5500 and 6500, but you will have to use a RALP5 adaptor that converts the 50 mm shaft to a 35 mm shaft.

• TALP 5: Adjustable Truss Adaptor with 50 mm shaft. Adjusts from 10" to 20".
• TBar 3: 5' TBar with a 2" Pipe for Lights. This has a 35 mm shaft and must be used with a RALP5 adaptor.
• RALP5 Adaptor: Used for converting a 50 mm shaft to 35 mm.
• Hook Clamp 50P: This clamp is used to connect lights to a truss or TBar 3 and fits up to a 2" pipe.
